My birthday has gone past in a bat of an eye. 20 now. So called the dreaded BIG TWO.

A BIG THANK YOU to all who celebrated with me/ will be celebrating with me, msged me or tagged a birthday msg on fb. You all made this day different from other days!!! Thank you thank you! :DD

Today is also Pay day although I only worked a while. :) However, this job is not as highly paid as my previous job. =( Regardless, it feels good to receive the cheque.

Early birthday celebration at JP Crystal Jade

SATURDAY
Work on Saturday morning was really fun! And I earned money for helping out with the course registration, but it's more of sorting brochures for the visitors. And Qian yi was the emcee for the day! It's unexpected and I'm so happy to see her and she performed the role really well! I enjoyed the talks too. So there's really nothing much for me to do and I felt so guilty accepting the money =x

After that I went to Jurong Point to meet my uni frens for early celebration of my birthday!

Sight at JP. It's much much much more crowded than this. I can't even see Jolin Tsai.

The uni clique celebrated my birthday at Jurong Point Crystal Jade. :) The la mian and xiao long bao is super nice as usual! :) Thank you Jiamin, Ziting and Jun Han for celebrating with me! Sadly, Ya Dang and Hui Yi couldn't make it. And my present is a really beautiful bag and it suits me just fine! Thank you everybody! :)) We went shopping around JP after that.

SUNDAY

Osborne and I actually wanted to catch Monsters Vs Aliens 3D at Singapore Discovery Centre. In the end, we were sort of running late so we went to shop around JP (again) instead. In the midst of walking around, we spotted a promotion for chocolate fondue with Ben and Jerry's Ice-cream and fruits at $11.95 (half-price) at Billy Bombers and we decided to go for it. :)

I was blacklisted by the sec ppl for not attending yest's steamboat. Main reason was I just wanted to laze around at home. But dere's my stomach not suitable for eating tom yam also =x It's greater penalty cos bing, hui and tsuyin (sent by jiayi and yeelu) persuaded me to go for countless times but my stand remained firm. Hopefully as time pass, they will forget all abt it yeah? hahaha. Jiayi's mum was really thoughtful and gave me a bottle of drink to 'aid my body condition'. Thank you!~~ And everybody else too. You ppl are my impt frens really.

Work's been pretty fine. =) Today we had lunch at The Central. Felt like going dere to shop someday. Haha!

Today is a really good day.

Collected my spects on my way back home. Brown frames look good! I even threaded my eyebrows after I've collected my spects at the shop next to it. Nice also! Hahaha. Went to Osborne's hrse for dinner too. I felt like I haven't seen him for ages. =( His mum bought me a bag from her China trip! And I received another colour of the Macdonald series of glass cups. =))

Today's work was much much better, even though I was hell far away from the quota set. Still I prefer my previous 2 jobs. *sighs* I like not-so-slack but high pay jobs. I was paid 8 per hr at Chicago Booth, pretty fun while now it's 6 per hr, and I have to bury my head in ancient papers and have my eyes glued to the com. Well, but I've got hui and bing with me. :)

Anw when I got home, the pipe that linked to the main sink in the toilet had a bad leak and the water supply had to be turned off. I was totally fed up even though I could just go to the other house to bathe. Osborne was really nice abt it. I wondered how he could put up with me. Haha. In the end, my father came home and managed to fix it. Suddenly, I thought men should know how to do these type of stuff eh? Pretty impt.

The feeling just sucks. It was a most terrible first day at work.
I feel like heaven is making fun of me. It couldn't have been more coincidental. Everything seemed sychronised. I so hate this feeling yet I was so helpless. I put in effort but so what? Who cares? Who sees it? NOBODY DOES. NOBODY CARES. My effort just comes to NOTHING.
Somehow I felt a familar pang. It was so tormenting.
But nobody could ever understand and feel this way like me.
But still, I've got over it. Hopefully tmr will be a better day.

1. Night at the Museum 2 at J8 GV. I like the show, though I feel that the plot for this sequel seems a bit inadequate. But still, it's a good comedy. =D
2. Made my spects too. It's just a normal looking pair of spects, having matching brown frames with my hair.
3. Ate at Thai Express and tried the tom yam hor fun. The gravy is translucent and it's supposedly to be very spicy behind its facade. It wasn't spicy at first mouthful but the spicy flavour will linger in your mouth afterwards. I wana eat at Thai Express again! =D Oh the chendol is very nice too!!! (it has er red rubies??)
4. Bought 2 nice tops at 15 dollars each. It's pre-gss sale I guess?

Yest was Hoon's bdae. She probably won't see it but still 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!'

Next Sat I can meet up with my uni clique to see the Kang Xi exhibition! B'cos I'd probably miss out their outing this Thurs. :(

Oh yah, 31st May is International Museum Day if I got it right. Admission for most museums will be free next wkend. :)

Wanted to catch Night at the Museum 2 with Qian but I got the timings mixed up. So in the end, we didn't bought the tixs but walked around cwp. Still, it's a gd chat!!! Hopefully, next week I'd be able to watch a movie with Qian and Jinxiu!!! We've been trying to watch a movie for damm long already but things often cropped up at the last min. =(

It's 3.30 am and I'm still not sleeping yet. I've given up on trying to sleep early already since I know I'd only toss on my bed and can't fall aslp. For the past two nights, I'm just trying to fall aslp. And I just had a terrible diarrhea just now again.

In the end, I didn't meet up Kah ying the other day b'cos I woke up at 2pm and she ended work at 2.30pm. Missed out lunch and breakfast with hui and act since I probably can't wake up so early. I missed the food at Chomp Pang so much!!! I love good food. Good food makes me happy :) Seems like I'm missing out much due to my unearthly sleeping hours.

Oh yah! Borne and I went for the opening Arts Fest at Marina Barrage. The performers made a lot of mistakes lor. Most of the performers are on high slits and except for falling off the silts, all other types of mistakes that could possibly happen happened. Dropping the long bars that were to be passed between performers, tripped over skipping ropes many times etc etc. Fireworks were pretty though. I was feeling very hungry and wanted a good meal so I suggested going to Newton Circus to find my mum. We ate buttered tiger prawns, grilled sting ray, stir-fried kailan and drank sugar cane. So satisfying lor!!! She's working at Stall No 70. Please support her if you do visit k. :)) And if anybody who wants to rent a store there, stall 68 is up for rent. Please contact me.

Results gona be out 12am tonight. Hope for the best!!!

Maybe I'd meet up with Kahying tmr. Haha! I remember the last time she watched me had my hair dyed, washed and cut. Nice fren =p But dyeing hair is really bad for your hair.

sushi-making

Today's a special day. :)

Osborne took leave and we made sushi today. It was rather a unsuccessful attempt unlike the paper wrapped chicken which I made sometime ago. Tastes good k!!! If anyone of u wana eat, I'd gladly cook for u!!!

Back to sushi making, it's so hard to make the rice stick together and the rice just crumbles when I cut them with my house's knife, which isn't sharp enough. The end products aren't tasty but still, he ate it all up! So nice of him. :))) I was really sick of it b'cos I ate as I made the sushi. -.-

Not nice at all. It'd be sometime before I try to make sushi again. haha!

Finally I met up with Jiayi on Monday and we went town to walk. We were approached to do a wellness test which it's aim is to convince us to buy some those healthy breakfast powder drinks. But still I managed to know rather interesting facts about myself like my metabolism rate, fat content, water content, muscle mass etc. In the end, we settled at Borders and I was engrossed in one magazine on Naruto. haha!

Si Hui's flying off on Friday morning. Gona send her off. Good thing is I'd be able see planes!!! I duno why I like also. But I always feel very happy seeing planes.

And gd news! I've gotten my 100k trophy for Bejeweled blitz! Hahaha, even though I haven't beat Ziting yet! But it's okay. =) And Ziting told me her fren scored 259k. How on the earth did she manage that??!!!

I duno why I'm feeling down these days. Whyyyy?

~Happy birthday Yuan Wen!!!~ =)))

Last Friday, 0622 peeps met up at AMK hub organised by me! hahaha. It was a last min thing gathering planned on Thurs nite. Turnout was rather good considering the gathering's last min. 11 ppl went. =))) Thanks to all who made an effort to come! Yuanwen came!!! Like finally! Always felt most at ease with her around. Hahaha. I got really excited when shooting bball at arcade after dinner at Ichiban Sushi (Suggested by Yuan Wen). Both Edmund and Lester were really good at the game and managed to go to Stage 4. Yuan Wen and I combined efforts reached Stage 2. Ahhh, the food at Ichiban was really good. JJ and Lester were very hungry, hahaha. I like the chawanmushi which has the ginko nut I like! Last part was spent talking with the rest who hadn't left by then at the stairway outside AMK hub. Trained home and then, Osborne sent me home. =))

The next morning I couldn't wake up. I tried to beat my Bejeweled Blitz high score so I slpt late and I set the alarm at 9pm. =XX Youhui called me so I still made it for the game. This time, Yanling came too and she's pretty good too. I was dead tired and looked on the verge of fainting I think, but I still enjoyed the game.

I'm now at One Piece ep 69! I'm loving the show!!!

And I really want to get a job now.
I need money.
So if anybody who has job offers, please inform me!

Yest was my BEST FREN Si hui's birthday!!!
We went to Tampines 1 and it was our first time going there. I always wanted to see how's Uniqlo like, but it turned out to be very ordinary. We shopped around and ate at Secret Recipes, which was my second time there. This time, I tried the promotional set (grilled chicken with rice and ice lemon tea at $10) and it turned out to be average. Si hui tried my recommendation, mango and ham stuffed chicken. =)

HAHA, I made a pop-out card for her!!! It was my first time trying to do one and I thought I followed the instructions from the internet carefully. The end-product looked quite nice (haha!) BUT it CANNOT CLOSE. -.- LOL!!!

The funny thing was we got lost while trying to find the 168 bus stop when we wanted to get home. Ahhhh.. We got lost again, ended up walking in one circle and very nearly took the bus which would go in the other direction towards Bedok instead of Woodlands.. Previously, I led us to get lost while trying to find the way to Holland V. That's why I need to find frens with good sense of direction or else, we would be lost together. Haha!

HAPPY TWENTIETH BIRTHDAY!!! (which reminds me again that I would turn 20 in less than a month's time).

The BIG TWO is gona hit me in a flash.. Ahhhhhhhhh.....

Holidays have been rather good so far. =)

The 6J classmates from Admiralty Primary School met up! Initially we were supposed to dine at Anstons but somehow we ended up at Manhattan (again). Met up with Qian after her tuition at Woodlands Mrt at 7.40pm. The meeting time and place was 7.30 pm outside Cathay. But when we reached Manhattan, we were in good time b'cos all of them hadn't ordered the food! And there's a good turnout of 22 people!=D Some people still looked the same but some don't.

After walking aimlessly and deciding what to do next, we finally sat down at the open field in a bigggg circle and began to chat. Ahhh, Zihao and Jiawei are so funny! Tea Zhi Hao went too. So many many many hilarious moments!!!

I lead a pretty boring life.
What have I been doing these days?
Nothing much.. Watching shows and one piece. LOL I started watching one piece from ep 1. I'm now at ep 13. LONG LONG LONG way to go...

My digestive system's been really bad these days anyway.

Anyway yest's been rather gd! Met up with best fren Si hui at Jurong Point for some shopping! I went to Ntu chinese library to return my books first before meeting up with her. Anyway we explored the whole of Jurong Point and bought some stuff.. =)) There were many gd deals around! But unfortunately, it's in the midst of recession when poor students like us do not have a lot of money to spare.

She's going Vietnam for 18 days for some OCIP thing and she's leaving on 13th May. It's going to be a meaningful trip cos she'll be going there to teach the children while I'd in Singapore to slack my time away. I'd be sending her off.. Ahhhh.. But at least she will be back in time for my birthday! HAHAHA.

And on last Sat, Osborne and I went to Vivo. To save money, we settled our lunch at Food Republic and I must recommend the 招牌火锅 from one of the stores that sell 鱼片汤.. It costs 6 dollars for the small one which turns out to be quite big. It was really worth it cos of the generous servings of ingredients. The chilli's nice too!!! It was really nice and I finished everything up! Haha.

Oh and I'm gona be a museum assistant for some wkends! *Visualising scenes from night at the museum* Pay's really high. 75 bucks for 9.45am to 5.15pm. It's part of school thing. If not, I could introduce the job to Alyssa too. Prob I'd get a day job soon.

Oh last thing. It's sis's bdae tmr. And she got me to buy 4 manga bks for her. I'm so poor now. =(( HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I'd get to eat ice-cream cake tmr =DD

GUESS WHAT???!!! MY EXAMS ARE OVER!!!

It's gona be a long entry... Pardon me!

I had conquered HC 803 中国传统与社会, HC 150 文字学, HC 110 台港文学, HC 205 中国历史导论 and HC 203 唐宋文学!

And for this semester, HW111C- Mastering Communication too. This semester had been hectic with reports, tests and more reports! However, school life is fun when you attend lectures and tutorials with nice frens! So thank you all of you!

The exams had been mentally tiring. Especially having to deal with HC150 paper which happened to be a morning 9am paper after my HC 803 paper which only ended at 7pm! But one thing happy abt the exam was that I think I got all the 25 fill-in-the-blanks correctly. Proud of myself. =D lol!

And it was super stressful to deal with a mountain of HC203 notes (and I really meant a mountain) and I only had one plus day to clear them. In the end, I only cleared half. It's impossible to clear everything and I knew everybody else probably felt the same way as me. It seemed like there are infinite number of people people and their works to memorise.

And today's HC 203 paper proved to be disastrous (I've already forseen it=x), especially section one when you can't even try to bullshit/ 'pai1' yr way through. I was trying to 'pai' for some qns for section 2 too. But everybody felt the same, so it would't be so bad I guess. Section one tested on 诚斋体、谁是唐文唐文的皮、陆、同韵、用韵、步韵.. -.- The answers are usually found at the most hidden parts of lecture notes, not reiterating that we have a mountain of notes. And everybody was trying to make sense of it. LOL and Junhan thought 唐文的陆 was Lu bi qiu (which sounded like pikachiu)! DAMM funny..

And I didn't expect he wld test on 姜夔的词 lor (the probability is very very small) though I roughly read it in the morning with the mentality that reading it wld be a waste of time and was feeling so sian about it. And then, it came out. Suddenly, I felt thankful!

Okay let's hope for the best! Hopefully, I will do better for this semester!!!

And so Ziting, Junhan and I went to JP to shop around after today's paper. We ate at Crystal Jade and had the la mian and xiao long bao!!! Ziting can eat a lot!!! And it felt like Junhan only had a few smoothfuls. haha! The food was nice and each paid 15 dollars, so it wasn't ex for such nice food!!! =))

Anyway April was a month in which many of my dear frens' birthdays fell in! Happy belated to HengQian, Jiayi, Junhan and Huayee. Oh and my sec frens and I celebrated Jiayi's birthday on the 6th at Timbre. That day, we ordered the speciality pizzas, mushrooms and chicken drum sticks and many different types of drinks too, some nice and some not.

And Sihui's birthday coming soon!

Now I shall plan a list of things to do before I find a job.

Lastly, thanks to Osborne for everything! =)

Movies galore

Watched 12 Rounds last Sunday. There's a lot of action (explosions, explosions and explosions) but the ending's rather incredulous. Still a heartwarming movie whereby a guy goes through 12 rounds of tasks to save the woman he loves.

Watched Watchmen 2 Sundays ago. Anyway in one of my lessons, the teacher mentioned abt the Rorschach Test which is also shown in the movie. A Rorschach mask's featured too. It's a personality test whereby pictures are shown to you and you are to say wad the picture resembles. But anyway the test is agreed to be generally unreliable now.

Guess wad. English's HW111C last assignment is to write a resume! WEE!! I've just finished mine damm fast. After all, I've spent 3 LONGGG MONTHS keying resumes everyday before! Wahahahaha. (To Alyssa: HAHAHA. Tell u wad... I wrote I'm applying to be a translator. HAHAHA. Only u will know wad it means!!!)

Thank god Kah ying reminded me to do this assigment and for sending me her useful slides! I might really forget to do.

I ponned last Friday's tutorial. Hope the teacher wun ask why I didn't come next week.

But the other hand, I'm really dead with the last report for HC110. After reading the story twice, I still can't really catch wad's going on. Haiz.

Was super tired after last Friday test and so I fell aslp at 9pm. In a bat of an eye, another wk had flew past. This week, I've been really unproductive. So tmr I shall study really hard. (hopefully)

Anyway last Saturday was pretty fun! Whole day out! In the morning, I met up with the 'gossip girls', termed by Youhui, plus Act for BREAKFAST. I was late and the rest waited for me (I'm so sorry). In any case, we went to Macdonalds and I finally satisfied my craving for Hotcakes! After that, we walked around cwp, chatted, walked, chatted and finally settled at Burger King for lunch! (fast food again??) I didn't ate though cos I was still full from breakfast. It was of course great and fun to chat with them and hear new updates! And it was a really long time since I last saw Act. So we all had a good chit-chat session! =D

In the afternoon, Osborne and I went to Orchard to celebrate our first mth. We ate at Ichiban Sushi which I think was located at the basement of Centrepoint shopping centre. The food served was superb!!! The teriyaki chicken was perhaps even better than Sushi Tei!

I ordered this terriyaki chicken with sprinkled sesame.

Borne ordered this. Everything's nice! The chicken cutlet was really delicious too! I had my first try at Miso soup and sashimi.

The green tea ice-cream was so-so only. Ajitei serves much better deserts! HAHA.

Exams are coming soon! I must concentrate on my studies. I think I'm feeling very stressed lately and I've been rather quiet in school. I think it's a symptom. But thankfully, I have my uni frens! They are very nice!!! Very glad to be able to attend lessons with them! I shall try not to be late for all lessons next wk!

It's only to be a tough mth ahead.

Just had HC803 test which tested on 8 long chpts. It turned out to be a REALLY difficult one even though it's open-book. It's 30 percent of final grade somemore. Even though I knew I won't do well, but at least it's a good revision for final term exams. For once, I actually sat down for hours and read through all the notes. Even though I just started today and can't understand most of the quotes.

And yest just submitted my HC 110 report. After editing and printing my work in the library, I (Qingyi too.) forgot all abt my thumbdrive and went for lesson. After my lessons had ended, Qingyi told me she had forgotten to take out her thumbdrive and she showed me her thumbdrive which was bent! It then occurred to me that I hadn't took out mine too! So Li Hong and Qingyi acc to Chinese Library to find back my thumbdrive. Thank you! =)) BUT it cannot be found. ARGHHHHHHHHH.

I'm feeling so demoralised now.

There's another test on Friday. But Friday shld be a happy day. :)

Recess week had flown past. And another week of schooling has ended.

During recess week, the teachers had gave us truckloads of work.

However despite that, I managed to have a great week still!

Last Wed, my HW111C group members came over to my house to discuss our presentation. And we had our oral presentation today! It went well except for some technical difficulties. It was fun working with Serene, Kah mun, Jieying and Di Fei. And the girls all came in black pants.=)) My group members have been great! :)

I dyed my hair dark brown too! It's only obvious under light though. :)

YOU HUI, I FINALLY DYED MY HAIR! hahaha. I only took a little longer time to get my hair dyed. (One yr? LOL.)

The Saturday of the recess week was spent working at NLB. I went to help out with the ongoing exhibition co-organised by NTU 华裔馆and some external organisation. I earned $60 dollars (without doing anything much =x)! Ate at the buffet too and even my lunch was a treat! hahaha. Had fun working with Mr Lim, Cher Kiat and Joyce! They are all v nice people!

That's the exhibition at Level 5 on 'Chinatowns' ( The idea is like Chinese enclaves in SE Asia i think.) It will be there till the end of March.

And borne came to find me after work and we met up with 0622 JC classmates. The turnout was really good!!! We went to Manhattan Fish Market at PS for dinner and paid using CLASS FUND ($130 which divided by no of heads gif us each a discount of 9 dollars =D). HAHA. I had grilled dory with fries if I had not remembered wrongly. Sadly, my leg had an infected part (which-i-really-think-it-just-appeared-when-I-woke-up-from-bed-one-day) and it's still black and not getting better. On the whole, it was good to have a successful gathering finally!

This week, or shld I say this whole semester 2, has been VERY hectic. Did the report on 儒里外史 this week so I've completed 3 required reports for HC 205. :) handed in HC 203 and 150 report this week too. :)

Read 蝴蝶的记号 and watched the movie 蝴蝶 this week. It's a story about lesbians entangled in relationships. The story's okay but the movie's NOT. Too corrupted. So this weekend I have to do a report on the differences between the story and the movie. Arghhh.

And today I woke up to find my HC150 assignment missing from my file! Gave me a shock! However, I was very sure if it's not in the file, it's not with me cos I didn't even open my file from yest till today morning. So I msged Yadang, Jun Han and Di fei. In the end, it's with Di fei as I've left it in the library after completing it! So careless!!!

So yest the bball girls went to celebrate Sop's bdae (23th Feb- so it's early celebration) at Cicada at night. Many ppl came and I did not know most of them. However, there were still some I recognised. Mr Lawrence, Michelle, Lester Chee, Yizhe and his gf came too. And one of them's a Hall 3 bballer and she recognised Kahying and me. (Perhaps cos Hall 12 played up agst Hall 3 before and we were thrashed. Haha.).

Still, it was nice to see my frens again!

Surprisingly, I only spent 6 dollars there since 5 of us shared two large pizzas.

Today I was awoken by Jiamin's call at 830am but I just refuse to get up and slpt till 11.30am. Set off at 1230pm and I literally flew to South Spine Coms lab 7 after conquering one long slope and 2 flight of stairs. I was right on time! I was really lucky b'cos the trains and bus all came when I reached the stations. Since it's Murry's lessons, we cannot be late or we wld be greeted with a sacarstic 'Good evening!' even we are just slightly late.

Lemme see.

This semester is so much tougher than last due to the two cores HC 203 and HC205 which are trying to kill us with poems and readings.

Things to complete:
1. Prepare for HW111C presentation on Week 9.
2. Prepare for HC803 test on Week 10.
3. Prepare for HC150 test.
4. Two HC 203 reports.
5. One HC 205 report.
6. Read many many stack of notes which I've missed during normal lessons and revise my work which I'm lagging behind.

7 days probably won't be enough.

Before I knew it, somehow or another, many seem to have heard of the news already. And facebook did a wonderful job in spreading the news. (I didn't expect all this at all!) Although how jj and the guys know do shocked me initially. But I think I get it now. hahaha. But still thanks to everybody.. hahaha. =))

And I've finally caught The Curious Case of Benjamin Button! It's a really long show, 2 hr 47 mins if I get it right. Hmm really sad movie but its a movie worth watching for. I read in Life that the film took 20 long years to make it! And you can see a really young Brad Pitt!

Went to Ikea Alexandra last thurs after school to meet the hui, jia, bing where we walked around and I ate Nasi Goreng! Bought a white dustbin and two towels. lol! And yest morning I met hui, stella and jia to 'play basketball'. They are the 'gossip girls' but I'm very happy that they are all happy for me! =))

And yest Qingyi's bdae! Yanjia and I went for her celebration at her hrse. It was really a sight. There is really a huge crowd. And I love her cake! It's a 5 kg cake in the shape of numbers 2 and 1. Happy 21st birthday!!! =)))

It's been sometime since I last blogged. School's been really busy. Today's 初十二 of Chinese New Year. This year's Chinese New Year is a lot more fun than last year's.

初一: Mum, sis and I went to my grandma's house where everybody (mother's side) would congregate there. It was nice to see my relatives who were closer to me again. Our second destination was 三姨's house. Her husband drove us to their house where we 捞鱼生, gambled, ate dumplings and slacked. My sis and I managed to win $9 dollars together. =D

初二: Played cards and daidee the whole day. hahaha.

This week had been a hell of a week. Going home late everyday and doing reports. Finally, I've completed my HC205 report!!! =)))

Yest had been a day too overwhelmed with a series of happenings and that I didn't know how to react to all. Chatted with youhui for nearly 2 hours at night! I was laughing very hard at some stupid act Youhui did! Really happy to have this bunch of sec frens. =))) And everything turned out fine in the end.

These few days have been fab! =))) Did loads of shopping! AND there's sales everywhere!!! Fruitful trip~ And guessed what? I saw a tee with Bastardino imprints today! Tokidoki craze is getting to S'pore yeah? =D It's gona be the next BIG thing.

A pity the holidays will end on Tues and its gona be back to school again, with loads of readings untouched. Perhaps I shld study tmr nite? However, it wouldn't be too wise to go against traditions abt studying on CNY. (will 输(和'书'同音)?)

And this year, there's more festive mood in my hrse. Had dinner with my mum and sis today. For a really long time, we ate together. And there's really a lot, a lot of variety and everybody's pretty excited for some reason I guess? hahaha. And I helped to prepare the stuff.

Tmr's gona visit grandma's and 3rd aunt's hrse. Looking really forward to Tues as well. =)))

Hmmm a lot happened this week.

First up, I've finally settled my timetable.

I really wana complain abt the admin department B#H*&Y#U$ cos because of some mistakes they made, I've gone through a lot more hassle just to register the module. And thanks to many ppl who helped me someway or another, like Junhan for accompanying me to find the professor, others who tested the add/drop thing, and even those who agreed with me that the admin was to blame (lol) and sihui to whom I've ranted to. =))

I've decided to drop HC230 and take up HC110 after some consideration. And I think I've made the right choice because I believe I can't manage the workload of HC230. And Yanjia and Qingyi are taking it too! And Qingyi and I can attend tutorial lessons tgt~~

And something happened on bus back home on Tuesday. I shall try to forget the incident. And I went to Alyssa's hrse tues nite. And I skipped lecture on Wed. (So sorry, Jiamin. I shall attend future lectures dutifully from now onwards.) And I'm so tired from many lessons today.

And there are so so so so so many readings this semester, especially HC205. I believe the teachers are all trying to drown us with the readings. And at the tortoise rate I'm reading these notes, I wonder how and when I can finish them. I must study hard. Focus, focus and focus. But Chinese New Year is coming! lol~~

I've just washed the floors in my room and changed bedsheets. My room looks so neat and span now.

Okay I shall go prepare the letters to my angel and mortal. It's a rather silly game but den somehow, it adds a bit of spice to lessons. Hah, cos I've got skittles. *greedy*

Concerto Punk Carezza Bag

The names themselves sound damm enticing. I was checking out the prices of the summer series bags released in Nov last yr but sadly, they are all too ex! I ended up at E-bay and I very nearly splurged on the above. (cos the bidding price is still much cheaper than retail price). I wish i could have it.

*Sighs*

For people who never saw these cute designs before, it's the Tokidoki series. (and it's a US brand, not Jap). I wanted to buy Bastardino when I was at the Suntec Comic and Cartoon convention last June, but alas, it's out of stock! And till now, I still haven't got it yet.

Isn't Bastardino such a cute name also? It's one of the 7 from the cactus suit series but I like this best. Reason is VERY obvious.

School has reopened.

I'm now Year 1 taking Sem 2 now. Going to school and attending lectures together is SO fun!!! First day of school has been fabulous! Yadang and Ziting brought us goodies from Malaysia and Taiwan respectively. Yummy. Junhan highlighted her hair, hui yi dyed her hair and yadang had a cute ponytail. And Qianyi cut her hair again! And and Yanjia cut a fringe and qingyi permed her hair (straight after last day of exams indeed)! And today, we went to the library after lesson to print our notes. There's just too much notes to print. I must start studying now! If not, I'm never going to finish readings, particularly those in fan ti. I'm still thinking if I shld drop HC 230 and take HC110 instead. Jiamin's gona hate me if I pang-seh her!!

My house has a box of pineapple tarts! yay! And snacks from Hans again. And chocolate hazelnut cookies! =D I just realised that there is A LOT, A LOT, A LOT of notes uploaded for HC230. I'm so shocked. This time round, I shall revise consistently and I shall start TMR.

Went to the temple at Bugis today. Hope 2009 will be a good year ahead!

I've a 4 day week timetable and having the same timetable as Jiamin! =) Wahahaha. Hopefully the rest will be able to get what they want tmr during add/drop period. =)

Time now is 3am. So I shall go and sleep. Tired day out, but enjoyable.

Today's the second day of 2009.

2008's flew past just like that. In 2008, I've discovered a lot about myself and others, learnt alot new things and made really great friends in uni! Looking forward to school's reopen for a brand new semester! I'm really glad I'm taking Chinese in NTU. =)))

I've been so busy for the past few days! These few days have been FABULOUS! But tiring. On the last day of 2008, I finally met up with Sihui. Proud to say, we have been best friends for 12 LONGGG YEARSS! And definitely still counting. So she accompanied me to get my baking stuff and stuff for Mahjong Huat Huat Day before we went back to my house to chat. I was so busy entertaining her with my updates in life. And she was most entertained!!! I also showed her my 小抄 for HC101 paper and was telling her the content of my xiao shao can't be compared to some of my course mates. At once, I remembered Bobby's 小抄. The words were written in pencil and goodness knows how did he managed to write them so small? When I have already used 0.38 fine pens?

That night, for the second time, Alyssa and I baked peanut blossoms cookies. The first time we baked was dark chocolate cookies and this time round, sugar coated peanut butter cookies!!! And to all, baking was a success again!

First experiment

As you can see, the cookies dun have the ideal cookie shape. But this time round, not only do the cookies have the ideal cookie shape, it tastes sumptous too! But sadly, there are no pictures of the end products of my second experiment because rain got into my W850i and its spoilt now. I'm really depressed because the phone's been with me for a long time.

Back to the point, Alyssa and I baked many more cookies this time and we experimented many other shapes with the dough. Alphabelts, doughnut-shaped, heart-shaped etc and even a gingerbread man!!! However, we lacked the time to bake the gingerbread man because by the time we finished baking the others, it was already 2am! The baking part was really tricky and irritating because we couldn't grasp the timing of baking well.

And I brought the cookies to my sec sch gang for the mahjong session/ potluck on the first day of 2009!!! And they all said it was good! =)) Gatherings at Bing's house were always damm fun! And with SO many hilarious moments! There's spicy fries, samosa, onion rings, bite-sized sausages, xiang chang, chicken wings, seaweed chicken, curry chicken, cocktail and soup! However, we couldn't finish all the food which was a waste. Spent the first day of 2009 happily with Bing, youhui, jiayi, yeelu, zhiyi, beng hwang, faris and shiquan! Mahjong session was always fun when you win and sian when you dun win. But Lady Luck's been rather nice to me.=))

Today's been a great day too! =)) So far 2009 has been good.

Hopefully 2009 will be a better year for the world and everybody, and smooth-sailing year for me.

Jiamin's entry set me thinking.

True friends are friends that will stand by you when you encounter trouble, just be with you when you are feeling down or pissed, lend you a helping hand or just a listening ear when you need it, and importantly, never betray you. Perhaps the idea of betrayal seems a bit ambiguous. But many a times, many people never cherish friendships formed. Some people always think of themselves first and neglect the feelings of their friends. And these people still consider them good friends? When they time and again fail to care about the feelings of their friends? And for some, expect their friends to help them when in need but will not bother to help them when they need it?

True friends are far and between. But you know you can always count on them.

My all-time favourite from The Amazing Race season 13.

I was so disappointed/ pissed when they could not get into the final 3 (because Dallas left their passport and money behind in the taxi) BUT instead the idiotic/ comical Frat Brothers took their place instead.

And the winners of this season are

Nick and Starr. (siblings)

I immediately realised Dallas and Toni were absent at the finishing line.

Well. I've finished watching TAR season 13. There's the brewing of Dallas and Starrs' romance this season. They do look good together. =) Nick and Starr won the million dollars in the end, which was kinda expected. Nick's really smart, cool, composed but wicked in little ways and Starr is a good and sporty competitor but always impatient. So they really balance each other well.

I'm really touchy today and I just want to be alone today. I'm getting my results tomorrow and the anxiety is already building up. NUS ppl have already received their results and hearing news from my friends just made me even more anxious.

I guess I need to cool down.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!

Had an eventful eve but slacked at home on Christmas.

Yet and again, I was supposed to run yest morning! BUT it was raining. (I can't wake up again too=P) So it can't be helped and I had a series of bad dreams so I kept waking up every two hours. The dreams were really bad. In one of the dreams, I dreamt about the damm creature in Soul Eater, the Excalibur.

Oh my! Well, its only ppl who watched Soul Eater who will know how irritating this creature is! He's so irritating that fans just anyhow sub his dialogue and cutting short his dialogue. HAH.

Went to various places without any specific destination in the very first place in the afternoon. But it's pretty fun! Basically we went to the East, (past by) Central, West and back North! Home sweet home~

Alyssa came to my hrse at an unearthly hr at 1am. It's totally random! hahaha so we slacked till 3am.

I've a really big urge to play bball~

Finally managed to catch up to Soul Eater ep 37. Just managed to find the raw version of ep 38. So subbed 38 coming soon. =D

I have too finished watching Survivor's Gabon finale. Haiz I dun really like this season. I felt that Bob won just bcos he's the most deserving winner. This season is not even as exciting as Survivor's China cos despite all the backstabbing or so called 'stategic moves' made, Todd still managed to convince the Jury to give him their votes. Sugar hardly made any effort to convince the jury at all. I have quite a lot of comments abt this season but I guess I'd just keep the rest to myself. Hopefully, next season will be more exciting. Hmm My fave season till now is still Cook Islands. =D

Watching Amazing Race Season 13 now. I really wanted to travel around the world.

Loyi is totally exhausted but ironically really wide awake now! Conversation wif Ziting and Jiamin is literally madness. They are crazy! And to think I'm as crazy as them too =P Hopefully we'll be able to meet up on the 28th yeah?

Oh my.. Holidays have been so fun! But far too tiring for me.. I prefer laid-back holidays. haha.

Today, I met up with Shirley to give her the Conan dvds she asked me to borrow from Jiayi. As I have too promised my sis to go shopping her today, so the three of us headed for Orchard tgt. The best reward was this $3 denim belt which I bought from Far East Plaza and I simply love it.

Went to meet 0622 guys at Manhatten with my sis (lol). Didnt ate though. Basically, I just sat there for a while and listened to their stories (1/2 which didn't make sense to me), then I made my way back home. But it's still good to see them all alive and kicking. Hahaha.

TIRED. But I love holidays all the still!

I can't wait to play the com game. Wait till I get my hands on it. Heex. =P

2008 is ending soon and 2009 is just round the corner. A lot a lot a lot has happened in 2008, far much more than I have expected. I think in my 19 years of life, 2008 is the year Ive changed the most.

Ive just stopped working at Chicago Booth last Friday. It has been a good experience. Loads of festive goodies for the staff to indulge in. =D

This December holidays have been fabulous so far. Ive been utilising every day rather well. Everyday seems to be packed this week. hahaha. I need a rest.

Went shopping with Alyssa at Vivo today. Fun! Cos the shopping trip was fruitful. Saw Xiang hoon at Nichii so caught up with her a bit. We ate at Secret Recipes. =))

Ive decided against dyeing my hair cos it was simply too ex. 150 dollars (without treatment) for highlighting. I seriously should stick my butt at home so I wun spend money outside. Saw Melody on my way back so caught up a bit too. Den we went back my hrse to eat nice food lol. Good things are meant to be shared~ So good to have a good fren that lives just a block away from me^^
